Fillers are a smooth gel, usually hyaluronic acid, placed under the skin to restore volume that time has taken.Common treatments: adding fullness and definition to the lips, lifting flattened cheeks, softening the folds that run from the nose to the corners of the mouth, and smoothing the lines at the corners of the lips. Results are visible right away.

What to expect.
After a consultation about the look you want, the area is numbed and the filler is placed in small amounts, checking the result as we go.Treatment takes 20 to 40 minutes. Expect some swelling and possibly bruising for a few days; lips swell the most and settle within a week. Avoid heavy exercise and alcohol for a day.
Results
How long fillers last.
Six to twelve months for lips, twelve to eighteen months for cheeks, depending on the product and your metabolism.Hyaluronic acid fillers can be adjusted or dissolved if needed, which makes them a safe first step.
